Job Description
A Technical Program Manager at Samsara is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional security projects, supporting security and compliance initiatives, and driving strategic efforts to enhance the company's security posture and operational efficiency in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional security projects and initiatives.
- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of security and compliance roadmaps.
- Facilitate communication and reporting on the status of security and compliance efforts.
- Assist in security audit processes across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO, and GovRAMP.
- Develop and improve security team KPIs and related processes.
- Drive the adoption of AI technologies to enhance security processes and visibility.
- Support engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of security-related projects.
- Contribute to establishing a strong program management culture within the organization.
Requirements
- 1-4 years of Project or Program Management experience in a fast paced, technical company.
- Experience with managing priorities across multiple teams, building processes, and coordinating tight schedules.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and work with systems teams to collaboratively implement security improvements across the organization.
- Experience with Agile practices and utilizing tools to drive insights, such as JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, and other reporting tools.
- A proven track record for being data and technology driven, with experience in AI tooling and methods.
- Experience working on Information Security and or Compliance programs.
- Experience in driving strategy planning and roadmap definition.
