Job Description

The Strategic Account Executive at Samsara is responsible for driving revenue growth by building relationships with large enterprise customers, managing complex sales processes, and promoting Samsara's IoT solutions to improve physical operations across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop executive-level relationships within strategic accounts
  • Manage customer engagements from prospecting to closing
  • Demonstrate a solution-based sales process in complex sales campaigns
  • Conduct strategic outbound prospecting to identify potential customers
  • Build genuine relationships and trust with customers over time
  • Learn and understand the operational needs of various industries
  • Focus on customer success and long-term account growth
  • Own and manage enterprise deal sizes and C-Level relationships

Requirements

  • 7 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
  • 3 years experience selling into physical operations
  • Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement in complex accounts and 1M ARR transactions
  • Experience handling and owning enterprise deal sizes and C-Level relationships
  • Willing and comfortable with strategic outbound prospecting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with line of business stakeholders such as Operations, Finance, or IT
