Job Description

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Samsara's connected products, drive product adoption, create compelling customer content, enable sales teams, and analyze marketing performance to support the company's growth in IoT-enabled physical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and manage end-to-end go-to-market strategy for product areas, including messaging, positioning, launch planning, sales enablement, and customer adoption.
  • Design and execute marketing programs to drive product adoption and usage within the customer base.
  • Engage with customers through feedback sessions, beta programs, and events to gather insights and build advocacy.
  • Create and deliver sales enablement materials such as training, battlecards, and competitor insights to support sales teams.
  • Collaborate on content creation and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns to communicate product value.
  • Analyze performance data to measure product adoption, campaign effectiveness, and key business metrics, reporting findings to leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in core product marketing, or Management Consulting experience with a focus on enterprise sales and go-to-market strategies.
  • Demonstrate a mission-critical, commercial mindset with deep empathy for B2B sales channels and experience helping them win deals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to internal and external audiences large and small.
  • Proven ability to create and edit a variety of content including emails, launch plans, training materials, and customer-facing content.
  • Experience in customer-centric storytelling, translating technical features into clear value propositions, and engaging directly with customers.
  • Act as a proactive, resilient self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and takes full ownership to drive complex problems to a solution.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience managing and communicating complex projects with many stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Experience in B2B marketing is preferred.
  • High sense of urgency and an ambitious work ethic to drive business outcomes.
  • Analytical skills to understand customer data and measure the effectiveness of marketing programs.

Annual base salary range of $119,297.50 to $200,500 USD
