Job Description

The role involves leading and managing Samsara's global network of service partners, including recruiting, enabling, and overseeing hardware installation, implementation, and integration partners to ensure successful large-scale deployments and customer outcomes in a high-growth IoT company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the strategic vision for the Services Partner Program, including certification tiers, audit policies, and incentive structures.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage hardware installation, implementation, and integration partners globally.
  • Lead and develop the Services Partner team, including hiring, capacity planning, and performance evaluation.
  • Manage high-level negotiations and quarterly business reviews with services partner executives.
  • Monitor and ensure high-quality partner performance through metrics and feedback.
  • Identify operational and strategic risks within the services partner network and serve as escalation point for issues.
  • Streamline cross-team processes and workflows to facilitate large-scale services partner engagements.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to select and coordinate with strategic partners for customer deployments.
  • Develop tools, resources, and programs to enhance partner performance and foster a culture of recognition and impact.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in program execution, consulting, partner account management, or similar roles.
  • Proven track record as a people leader with experience hiring, developing, and leading inclusive, engaged teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain an enterprise-grade services partner network delivering verifiable customer outcomes within a high-growth technology company.
  • Experience managing program budgets, P L, and defining strategic visions such as certification tiers and incentive structures.
  • Strong track record of building and managing complex service partner relationships, including high-level negotiations and executive relationship management.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across sales and product stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, analytic, and organizational skills.
  • Experience developing training content or certification systems for technical partners is preferred.
  • Background in fleet telematics and dash camera industry with business development and project management experience is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required.
