Job Description
The Senior Manager of Customer Success at Samsara leads and develops a high-performing team to drive customer adoption, deliver measurable value, and ensure long-term success within the Mid-Market customer segment, focusing on strategic engagement, scaling impact, and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the success, value realization, and risk management of Samsara's Mid-Market customer segment.
- Define and implement scalable, long-term customer success strategies, including onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewal playbooks.
- Lead, develop, and coach a team of Customer Success Managers to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with customers to drive adoption, deliver measurable business value, and build long-term relationships.
- Evolve customer engagement models and embed best practices across the customer success team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years as an individual contributor within Customer Success, account management, or strategic consulting roles.
- At least 3 years in a people manager or leadership role preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited institution.
- Experience working for a SaaS company.
- Led a team where each team member managed a portfolio of 50 accounts.
- Experience with Tech, Scale, or Digital Customer Success programs.
- Experience integrating AI automation into customer success workflows to drive team members productivity gains.
- Experience using Gainsight.
