Job Description
This role involves leading the global insurance partnerships team at Samsara, focusing on building relationships with insurance brokers and carriers, driving sales of telematics and safety products, and demonstrating safety outcomes to support the company's connected operations platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Scale relationships with insurance brokers and carriers to drive sales and adoption of Samsara technology
- Align go-to-market strategies with insurance partners to demonstrate safety impacts of products
- Refine and evolve the value proposition for insurers
- Demonstrate safety outcomes using product and insurance data
- Build and manage a high-performing team of Partner and Program managers across North America
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in insurance, partnerships, business development, or consulting, or sales.
- Experience architecting mutual value propositions and developing strong partnerships from the ground up.
- Experience working with telematics data, ideally in an insurance context.
- Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder deals across several companies.
- Proven ability to create structure, process, and commercial models.
- Ability to align cross-functional teams toward a common partnership goal.
