Job Description
The IT Specialist at Samsara is responsible for managing and supporting cloud-based IT systems, including SaaS applications, network infrastructure, and collaboration tools, to enable company growth and operational efficiency in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support SaaS applications such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
- Configure and maintain cloud-based communication systems, including call routing, IVR, and CRM integration.
- Deploy and manage collaboration and productivity tools across the organization.
- Respond to escalated IT support tickets in a timely and effective manner.
- Document IT policies, procedures, and system configurations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance IT operations.
- Ensure the security and efficiency of core IT operations.
- Mentor new IT team members and support organizational growth.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working in an IT Role.
- Experience working with SaaS applications such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
- Minimum of 2 years of Tier II escalation support experience.
- Must reside in Canada.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM related field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
- Technical Certification (preferred).
- Ability to work both east coast and west coast hours.
