Job Description
This internship offers hands-on experience in developing and building scalable IoT platform solutions, including backend infrastructure, user interfaces, and embedded software, with a focus on improving physical operations across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop core infrastructure for the IoT platform, including data ingestion and storage systems.
- Create user interfaces to transform device data into actionable insights.
- Develop features across platform components, including data structures and analytics for web and mobile platforms.
- Support and enhance the infrastructure of the React Native mobile application.
- Design, develop, and maintain on-device software for hardware products, including edge AI models and real-time data processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless device-to-cloud experiences.
Requirements
- Complete a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science between Spring, Summer, Fall 2027, or Winter 2028.
- This internship can be a remote or in-person hybrid requiring 3 days per week in the London office and 2 days working remotely.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following areas: Backend, Infrastructure, Fullstack, Frontend, or Mobile Infrastructure.
- Experience with developing production-level software.
- Proficiency with technologies such as Golang, Python, Node.js, Typescript, and React is strongly encouraged.
- Strong technical foundation in computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to develop scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Motivated by understanding customer needs and building solutions that make their lives easier.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- Legal right to work at the company and in the specified work location, if applicable.
