Job Description
A full stack Software Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining in-vehicle safety and user interface features that enhance driver safety, efficiency, and experience, with a focus on scalable, real-world impact in physical operations industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver full-stack features for the Safety In-Vehicle Experience team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, designers, and support teams.
- Own the operational health and scalability of production systems.
- Contribute to core architecture, product roadmap, and engineering best practices.
- Build solutions across the technology stack, including front-end, back-end, and infrastructure components.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of full stack experience in software development.
- Experience shipping features that are used by customers and iterating on customer feedback to inform what to deliver next.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to collaborate, with the ability to explain why a solution is built a certain way and be open to suggestions from other engineers and stakeholders.
- A growth mindset and excitement around building new skills, expertise, and having curiosity.
- Comfortable with building out end-to-end solutions.
- Willingness to work across the stack, with a preference for either front-end or back-end development but capable of working on both.
- Experience with Go, GraphQL, Typescript, and React (familiarity or previous experience).
- Familiarity with embedded systems and software.
- Experience with taking Large Language Model (LLM) systems to production.
- Effective collaboration on a geographically distributed team.
- Experience maintaining software products at scale.
