Job Description

The role involves configuring and enhancing Workday HR systems, particularly the Benefits module, to support global HR operations, process improvements, and integrations within a fast-growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and enhance the Workday Benefits module for scalability and efficiency
  • Design, build, test, and deploy end-to-end Open Enrollment configurations
  • Develop and optimize custom Workday reports related to Benefits and HCM
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into Workday solutions
  • Partner with developers and vendors to improve Workday Benefits integrations and troubleshoot issues
  • Review system changes for process improvement and standardization opportunities
  • Configure Workday enhancements or fixes for HCM, Compensation, Payroll, and reporting
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements for programs executed through Workday

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working for fast-growing, global companies.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Workday configuration, including a minimum of 2 years configuring the Workday benefits module.
  • At least 2 years of experience configuring core HCM in Workday.
  • Experience in Workday business process configuration, security, and organization configuration.
  • Experience in Workday HCM, Benefits, and Core HCM modules in U.S. and International locations.
  • Experience writing and completing test scenarios for system implementations and enhancements.
  • Experience leading and configuring Compensation grids for the annual review process.
  • Strong understanding of Benefits best practices, HR processes, and compliance.
  • Experience documenting and analyzing requirements.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and prioritization.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and deliver enhancements or fixes on time without supervision, providing accurate timelines, follow-up, and required documentation for change management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience configuring Workday Benefits, Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules (preferred).
  • Experience with Workday certifications (preferred).
  • Knowledge of employment compliance and legal best practices.
  • Experience working with Jira, Zendesk, and other business applications integrating with Workday.
