Job Description
The role involves delivering training and support to customers to help them effectively utilize Samsara's connected operations platform, ensuring their success and operational goals are met through engaging virtual and in-person training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for customers to ensure effective use of the Samsara platform.
- Conduct live and recorded training sessions at various customer engagement levels and events.
- Collaborate with the Education team and stakeholders to create and refine training content based on customer feedback.
- Consult with customers to understand their needs and tailor training programs to support their operational goals.
- Demonstrate expertise in the Samsara platform and address customer questions during training sessions.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, and especially strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate sophisticated business software processes effectively and in a way that connects with customer priorities both in verbal delivery and in the materials produced.
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect well with others regardless of their level within an organization.
- Experience delivering training and making it dynamic at both virtual and live customer events.
- Ability to manage own work and teach oneself new products independently, working without supervision and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and effectively handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
- An eye for detail and polish in training materials and delivery.
- 3-4 years of experience teaching or delivering training.
- Ability to travel up to 15-20% of the time.
- Reside in the United States in a location that is not Alaska, Austin Metro, Boulder Metro, California, Chicago Metro, Connecticut, Dallas Metro, Denver Metro, Houston Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Seattle Metro, or Washington, D.C., or be willing to relocate without relocation assistance.
- Ability to demonstrate expertise on the Samsara platform and show facility in answering a range of questions from customers during training.
- Experience supporting Enterprise customers across multiple regions or markets (preferred but not explicitly mandatory).
