Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer II responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance automation platform components that enable customers to optimize physical operations across various industries, with a focus on system architecture, collaboration, and customer impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, test, and deliver full-stack features across front-end, back-end, and mobile platforms.
- Maintain and support production systems owned by the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize platform development.
- Design and architect large, high-scale, and maintainable systems.
- Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to team culture.
- Partner with other teams to ensure platform requirements are met and evangelized.
- Solve problems to enable product functionality for global customers.
Requirements
- 8 years of industry experience building and operating production software systems.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go, Java, C++, or an equivalent language.
- Proficiency in building scalable and maintainable front-end applications using TypeScript and React, or similar component-based JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience designing and architecting large, high-scale systems.
- A focus on and desire to mentor fellow engineers.
- An ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver upon project milestones with your team.
- Experience with a public cloud such as AWS.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.
