Job Description
A full stack engineer responsible for developing end-to-end solutions for managing trailers and unpowered equipment using IoT technologies, with a focus on tracking, monitoring loads, and asset deployment, contributing to the company's connected operations platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end solutions for equipment tracking, load monitoring, and asset management.
- Collaborate with engineering managers and cross-functional teams to prioritize and maintain product quality and technical health.
- Mentor other engineers through design and implementation discussions.
- Participate in customer interviews and collaborate with customer success teams to ensure product meets customer needs.
- Build scalable, reliable software, firmware, and hardware that have real-world impact on physical operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of relevant industry experience in software development.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages or frameworks: Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React.
- Strong programming coding fundamentals.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage technical discussions.
- Great team player mentality, enjoying collaborative work with engineers having different areas of focus, e.g., infrastructure, firmware, etc.
- Experience building and shipping a 0-1 product and understanding how to scale for growth and business impact post that phase.
- Understanding of how to build for stability and growth while being responsive to customer feedback.
- Prior experience working with geolocation data.
