Job Description
A Senior Growth Engineer at Samsara is responsible for building and optimizing products and systems that drive revenue growth, customer engagement, and retention by leveraging data, developing customer-facing applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a full-stack environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage data to identify opportunities and execute projects to drive revenue, customer growth, retention, and engagement.
- Build customer-facing self-serve products using frontends, cloud applications, backend services, and scripts.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales operations, and product teams to implement growth initiatives.
- Drive engineering discussions, write documentation, and develop unit tests.
- Partner with organizational teams to identify and solve major business problems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working in a full stack, API engineering or application services role.
- Strong experience with Python and/or Javascript Vue.
- Knowledgeable about modern web technologies, testing frameworks, and cloud computing.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to partner with different parts of the organization to identify and solve major business problems.
- Desire to learn about the business and apply that business acumen to applications.
- B.S., M.S., degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical experience.
- Experience using Vue in production web applications.
- Experience using AWS services including Elastic Beanstalk, Amplify, Lambda, CloudFront, Kinesis, and EventBridge.
- Experience developing Google Chrome Extensions.
- Ability to build customer-facing self-serve products from the ground up using custom frontends, Cloud applications, backend services, scripts, etc.
- Ability to drive engineering discussions and write thoughtful documentation and unit tests.
