Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer at Samsara develops and leads the creation of digital workflows and AI-driven solutions to modernize frontline workforce operations, focusing on automation, scalability, and customer impact within the Connected Operations Cloud platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers, engineers, product managers, and designers to understand pain points and translate feedback into features.
- Lead the development of 0-to-1 initiatives through rapid prototyping and iteration based on customer feedback.
- Leverage AI tools to design innovative experiences and enhance decision-making for end users.
- Drive technical leadership and make architectural decisions for scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4 years of professional full-stack software experience in a production environment.
- Strong growth mindset, including a desire to continuously teach, learn from, and grow with your team members.
- Willingness to dive deep and solve challenging technical problems.
- Experience building in a high-growth startup environment, operating in small teams with broad ownership.
- A track record of success contributing to software products at scale.
- Familiarity with Samsara's core tech stack including GraphQL, gRPC, React Native, React, Go, and TypeScript.
- Experience with native mobile application development.
Benefits & Perks
Base salary range of $180,200 to $212,000 USD
