A senior analyst in capital markets responsible for executing complex financial transactions, modeling and valuation of renewable energy projects, supporting due diligence, and assisting with project financings and acquisitions to facilitate the deployment of clean energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Perform complex financial modeling and restructuring of project and portfolio-level DCF models.
Support the structuring and closing of tax equity, debt, and cash equity transactions.
Manage due diligence processes with independent engineers, appraisal firms, and tax consultants.
Develop valuation frameworks for acquisitions or divestitures and prepare investment materials.
Monitor market trends to update underwriting assumptions for development pipelines.
Requirements
1 to 2 years of experience in project finance, capital markets, or investment banking, specifically within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
Exceptional Excel skills with a proven ability to get in the weeds of a model to fix broken logic or integrate new structural features such as HLBV or complex debt sizing.
Strong command of valuation analysis, including pre- and after-tax returns, levered vs. unlevered yields, and basic project finance documentation.
Proven ability to manage multiple data rooms and synthesize models from multiple technical consultants under tight deadlines.
