Job Description

A strategic role responsible for developing and executing performance marketing campaigns, primarily through paid search channels like Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, to drive customer acquisition and business growth for Samsara's IoT platform serving various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute data-driven customer acquisition strategies across search platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Own end-to-end campaign strategy and execution, including audience targeting, ad trafficking, creative optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to improve ad creative, audience targeting, and bidding strategies.
  • Leverage performance data to optimize keyword selection, ad copy, campaign structure, and bidding approaches.
  • Analyze and present campaign results, implementing recommendations to enhance performance and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create integrated marketing campaigns aligned with business goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience with Paid Search, Paid Social, or Programmatic Display advertising.
  • Skilled in building campaigns and ads directly in platform-native tools such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Google Search Ads 360.
  • Experience trafficking ads and implementing tags in Google Tag Manager and on websites.
  • Results-oriented and data-driven, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative insights to guide decisions and prioritize roadmaps.
  • Proven ability to build performance marketing channels from the ground up, with a strong focus on high-impact, high-return initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and creative teams.
  • High level of ownership and accountability, with experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Ability to develop and execute a data-driven customer acquisition and expansion strategy across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads Bing, and other search platforms.
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation to continuously improve ad creative, audience targeting, and bidding strategies.
  • Ability to analyze and present campaign results, and implement recommendations to optimize performance and identify new growth opportunities.
