A payroll professional responsible for processing employee payments accurately and on time, managing payroll systems, ensuring compliance, and supporting employee experience in a remote, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize CloudPay to process payroll changes
Perform pre- and-post audits of payroll inputs for accuracy
Research fluctuations in earnings and deduction codes
Handle equity reporting and review system integrations
Research and resolve employee payroll inquiries
Drive process improvements and prepare standard operating procedures
Partner with third-party vendors on payroll file management
Handle year-end payroll activities, including updates and employee communications
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of Canada payroll experience.
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with large volumes of data and draw meaningful insights.
Prior experience with Workday and CloudPay payroll systems.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work remotely without close supervision and take initiatives.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
Strong communication, problem solving, organizational, and reasoning skills.
