Job Description
The Senior Director of GTM Recruiting at Samsara is responsible for leading global sales recruiting efforts, building and managing a high-performing team, and developing strategies to attract top sales talent to support the company's growth and revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the global sales recruiting team
- Design and implement scalable recruiting processes for revenue-impacting roles
- Partner with leadership to develop talent acquisition strategies and provide market insights
- Manage recruiting pipeline activity, data integrity, and share updates with stakeholders
- Establish KPIs focused on headcount, time-to-fill, quality of hire, diversity, and cost efficiency
- Execute quarterly hiring goals, emphasizing diverse talent acquisition
- Champion and embed company values and culture across global teams
Requirements
- 12-15 years of experience in sales recruiting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a high volume sales recruiting team.
- Strong understanding of GTM organizations and various sales methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience scaling up high performing quota-carrying teams.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior executives and stakeholders.
- Experience leveraging data-driven insights to drive recruiting strategy and decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Ability to lead, develop, and manage a team of high performing managers and individual contributors across full-cycle recruiting and sourcing.
- Ability to act as a strategic advisor to leadership on market trends, compensation insights, and the competitive landscape.
- Ability to regularly manage pipeline activity, maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to establish and track KPIs focusing on headcount goal, time-to-fill, quality of hire, diversity, and cost efficiency.
