Job Description
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will analyze and visualize operational data to drive improvements within Samsara's Support organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop dashboards, models, and insights that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Query, structure, and visualize data to drive operational improvements
- Design, create, and maintain scalable BI solutions and dashboards
- Perform exploratory data analysis and integrate data from multiple sources
- Build analytical models to identify patterns, anomalies, and root causes
- Lead cross-functional meetings to understand data requirements and business challenges
- Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in BI development
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in designing and managing Tableau dashboards.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data visualization and manipulation, and dashboard development.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- A collaborative mindset, with experience working cross-functionally to solve complex business problems.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent coursework in a quantitative discipline.
