Job Description

The role involves deploying and managing IoT solutions for large enterprise customers, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and ongoing support to improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer adoption and success with Samsara's IoT platform to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability of operations.
  • Manage deployment of Samsara technology for large-scale enterprise customers, ensuring quick realization of value.
  • Create and execute launch plans and roadmaps to increase product usage and engagement.
  • Track implementation progress, product adoption, and account health metrics.
  • Conduct training sessions and demonstrate system capabilities to customers at all levels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Sales Engineering, and Product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and challenges.
  • Mentor and support the development of the Customer Success and Support teams.
  • Explain and communicate the capabilities of the Samsara platform to diverse customer stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a senior Customer Success, account management, or strategic consulting role.
  • Experience supporting or working with technical products.
  • Experience supporting or working with enterprise SaaS solutions is preferred.
  • Excellent consultative skills with experience in end-to-end system implementations.
  • Proven track record of building trust and communicating effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders including executives, Product and Engineering leadership, and day-to-day users of software.
  • Strong priority management skills and high emotional intelligence to handle a demanding position with high internal visibility.
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year institution.
  • Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand a customer’s business and explain technology products to both executives and day-to-day users.
  • Experience supporting or working with technical products.
  • Strong bias for action, the ability to think big, and insistence on high standards.
  • Experience serving and supporting large-scale business solutions at Fortune 500 companies.
