Job Description
A Sales Operations Manager role focused on developing and maintaining sales policies, governance frameworks, and processes to support Samsara's global sales organization, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and scalability as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Govern and maintain core sales policies to ensure clarity, fairness, and global consistency.
- Lead the account dispute process, resolving ownership conflicts in a timely and transparent manner.
- Oversee sales documentation and playbooks, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Redesign governance systems to scale with company growth, incorporating automation and AI solutions.
- Conduct routine audits to monitor policy adherence and identify risks or gaps.
- Partner with Salesforce Systems and RevOps teams to develop tools and workflows supporting compliance and governance visibility.
- Develop and track governance-related KPIs to ensure accountability and identify improvement opportunities.
- Advise Sales Leadership on governance risks, process gaps, and efficiency improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, and Renewals Strategy roles, preferably within a fast-paced, SaaS or recurring revenue environment.
- Proven ability to drive improvements in sales workflows through cross-functional project management.
- Expertise in Salesforce.com and related sales technology tools supporting Renewals or Customer Success teams is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and business judgment with a track record of leading complex projects from strategy through execution.
- Analytical mindset and ability to use data to influence Renewals strategy and decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills and experience translating policy processes into field-facing resources and guidance.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top university with a focus in business, finance, economics, or engineering; MBA is optional.
