Job Description
The Sales Operations Manager at Samsara is responsible for optimizing sales systems and processes, supporting enterprise sales teams, and driving organizational efficiency to enable long-term growth in a high-tech IoT company serving industries that power the global economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives to implement strategies that increase sales team efficiency
- Refine processes for requesting and prioritizing sales activities to reduce pipeline friction
- Identify and develop solutions for pain points faced by sales representatives
- Coordinate with internal departments to execute initiatives that boost revenue and profitability
- Support complex projects related to corporate strategy and long-term growth objectives
Requirements
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a Sales Operations role or experience in similar growth or operations roles in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to drive organizational change by project managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills with the AVP levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and the overall sales technology ecosystem.
- Strong organizational skills and business judgment with the ability to handle business and technical projects from end-to-end.
- Experience in Lead to Cash systems and business processes.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills to understand sales policies and processes at a company, team, and sales rep level.
- Prior demonstration of both roll-out strategies and implementation of new workflows to large sales organizations.
- Ability to work with others to structure complex, ambiguous strategic problems for the leadership team and build a case for making impactful changes.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top university in business, finance, economics, business, or engineering focus.
- Salesforce CPQ experience is preferred.
- High ability to communicate with both technical stakeholders and business leaders, translating complex issues seamlessly.
- Experience as a Salesforce administrator is a plus but not required.
