This role involves supporting strategic planning and analysis to drive long-term revenue growth for Samsara, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing insights to optimize sales performance in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
Develop multi-year strategic plans to support revenue growth in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Analyze sales team performance and build analytical models to inform planning and decision-making.
Guide sales leaders through strategic planning processes and project execution.
Prepare executive presentations, analyses, and talking points related to strategic initiatives.
Identify growth risks and develop mitigation action plans.
Build and maintain trusted relationships across organizations to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Consulting, Finance, Business Operations, Sales Strategy Operations or other analytical roles.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with a deep sense of curiosity.
Collaborative orientation and experience in building trusting relationships and influencing others, including executive audiences.
Self-starter who thrives and can multitask in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments with a bias for action.
Strong presentation skills, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing, comfortable in business and technical discussions.
Ability to synthesize a broad set of information into a cohesive narrative.
Expertise with analytical tools such as Tableau, Excel, and Google Sheets.
Experience working with big data tools such as DataBricks, BigQuery, SQL, etc. (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience with Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy (preferred but not mandatory).
Ability to develop insights and own analytical models that inform long-term and annual planning.
Experience in developing and supporting strategic planning initiatives in partnership with Sales Leadership, Business Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, and Marketing.
Ability to prepare executive-level presentations, analyses, and talking points as part of planning and strategic project work.
Experience in building trusted relationships across organizations and functions to create connective tissue between cross-functional teams.
Ability to identify risks to growth goals and develop action plans to mitigate those risks.
Reside in Canada and be able to work remotely, with the ability to secure and maintain the legal right to work at the company and in the specified work location if applicable.
