The role involves analyzing and optimizing sales processes and quota strategies using data analysis, SQL, and sales systems to support the growth of Samsara's global sales organization and drive data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Support the ADR Business Partner in streamlining and improving reporting structures and workflows in Salesforce
Partner with the Sales Systems team to automate workflows and enhance sales system processes
Assess, prioritize, and manage requests and improvement opportunities to develop a long-term roadmap
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL queries and data pipelines across Google Sheets, Databricks, and Apps Script
Collaborate with sales leadership to develop data-driven quota recommendations and support quota strategy
Serve as the primary owner for resolving critical support issues related to sales systems and data
Contribute to building a scalable analytical infrastructure to support sales decision-making
Requirements
2 to 5 years of experience in a Sales Analyst role or in a similar growth or analytics role within a fast-paced environment.
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Proficiency in SQL.
Proficiency in Salesforce.com and the broader sales technology ecosystem.
Strong organizational skills and sound business judgment, with the ability to manage projects end-to-end.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and craft clear, compelling narratives using data.
Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to understand sales processes, policies, and systems and communicate effectively across company, team, and sales-rep audiences.
Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top university.
