Job Description

The Renewals Retention Manager is responsible for developing and executing data-driven strategies to improve customer renewal rates, forecast renewal outcomes, and identify at-risk accounts through analytics and automation, collaborating across teams to optimize the renewal process and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and drive the global renewal forecasting process using customer health insights and predictive analytics.
  • Design and maintain renewal health scoring models to identify at-risk accounts early for intervention.
  • Analyze churn attribution and expansion patterns to develop data-backed action plans for leadership.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Ops and IT to automate renewal processes and improve data integrity.
  • Create and present dashboards and business reviews to communicate renewal performance trends to senior stakeholders.
  • Mentor team members on analytical tools and best practices to promote data literacy within the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Renewals, Customer Success Operations, Revenue Operations, or GTM Strategy Analytics.
  • Advanced Salesforce SFDC expertise, including deep experience building complex custom report types, dashboards, and calculated fields.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel for complex data modeling, trend analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS recurring revenue metrics such as Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Churn, and Expansion.
  • Proven ability to analyze churn attribution and expansion patterns to provide data-backed action plans to leadership.
  • Experience in building and maintaining data visualizations in BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or Sisense.
  • Experience using data science principles or statistical modeling to predict customer behavior.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining renewal health scoring models that identify at-risk accounts early enough for successful intervention.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and extract reasons to influence executive decision-making.
  • Ability to automate manual processes through Salesforce or BI tools to drive efficiency.
  • Proven ability to present complex technical findings to non-technical executive audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in high-growth IoT, Fleet Management, or complex Enterprise SaaS environments.
