Job Description
The Renewal Sales Operations Analyst at Samsara is responsible for optimizing sales processes, enhancing automation, and supporting renewal strategies to drive customer retention and revenue growth within a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Renewal Sales Leadership to optimize sales processes for retention and expansion
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflows, tooling, and analytics
- Assess, prioritize, and develop roadmaps for process improvements based on business impact
- Enhance renewal automation and tooling in partnership with Salesforce Systems and RevOps teams
- Develop and maintain operational metrics to identify inefficiencies and risks in renewals
- Govern and ensure compliance with Renewals-related Sales Policies globally
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, and Renewals Strategy roles, preferably within a fast-paced SaaS or recurring revenue environment.
- Proven ability to drive improvements in Renewals workflows through cross-functional project management.
- Expertise in Salesforce.com and related sales technology tools supporting Renewals or Customer Success teams is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and business judgment with a track record of leading complex projects from strategy through execution.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to influence Renewals strategy and decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills and experience translating policy and process into field-facing resources and guidance.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top university with a focus in business, finance, economics, or engineering preferred.
- Ability to support and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Salesforce Systems and RevOps to enhance automation, deliver tooling, define business requirements, conduct UAT, and manage end-user communications.
- Ability to develop and maintain operational metrics to uncover inefficiencies or risks within the Renewals workflow, providing actionable insights and partnering with teams to implement solutions.
- Experience supporting or supporting Renewals or Customer Success teams using sales technology tools.
