Job Description

The Renewals Account Executive role involves managing a portfolio of high-value Canadian mid-market accounts, leading full-cycle renewal processes, negotiating favorable terms, and identifying growth opportunities to ensure long-term customer retention and revenue stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of 50-75 high-value renewal accounts per quarter, securing favorable renewal terms and minimizing attrition.
  • Lead the full-cycle renewal process, including quoting, negotiations, and obtaining internal approvals.
  • Forecast and maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce, providing visibility into risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives to identify expansion opportunities and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Proactively manage account health by addressing churn risks and advocating for the Canadian market to meet retention targets.

Requirements

  • Experience of 2 years of full-cycle closing or strategic renewals experience, specifically managing Mid-Market or Commercial accounts.
  • Proven track record of managing a quarterly quota of 1 million CAD with deal sizes above 100,000 CAD.
  • Expert proficiency in Salesforce and a disciplined approach to pipeline management.
  • Ability to manage multi-stakeholder save cycles and handle complex procurement legal requirements.
  • Experience navigating the Canadian business landscape and familiarity with regional industries like transport, construction, or field services is a plus.
  • Drive full-cycle commercial execution by leading every stage of the renewal process, from initial quoting and complex negotiations to securing internal approvals.
  • Prioritize 36-month renewal terms to stabilize the partnership and maximize long-term Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Maintain impeccable Salesforce hygiene to ensure pipeline accuracy, provide scenario forecasting, and deliver data-driven insights.
  • Partner seamlessly with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and Account Executives (AEs) to identify expansion opportunities and ensure a frictionless customer experience.
  • Take full accountability for territory health by proactively solving for churn, advocating for the Canadian market, and exceeding retention targets.
