Job Description

A Sales Director role responsible for managing and developing an enterprise sales team, driving sales strategies, coaching team members, and building customer relationships within the IoT and connected operations industry, primarily in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of account executives, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and professional development.
  • Coach the sales team on strategy, pipeline management, and achieving sales targets.
  • Support the team in closing large, complex enterprise deals involving multiple decision makers and products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Field Sales Engineers to meet performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics in coordination with the executive team.
  • Build and maintain C-level and senior-level relationships within large organizations.
  • Promote and embody the company's cultural principles and values.
  • Travel within the Mexican territory for customer visits and industry events.

Requirements

  • Previous experience supervising a sales team in Mexico, Enterprise Accounts preferred in a management capacity
  • Proven track record of ability to train, spearhead and motivate enterprise sales teams
  • Solid understanding of SFDC (Salesforce) and accurate forecasting methodology
  • At least 8 years of technology sales experience
  • At least 2 years of managing sales teams that handle complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended time-frames
  • Ability to manage C-level and senior level relationships within large companies
  • Experience in managing and developing a team of at least 4 account executives, including onboarding, coaching, and professional development
  • Experience supporting account executives through professional development plans
  • Ability to provide clear and tactical feedback to account executives
  • Experience collaborating with executive teams to develop performance metrics
  • Experience coordinating the involvement of Field Sales Engineers and support teams to meet performance objectives and customer expectations
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to strategically solve problems and project manage
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, and comfortable with public speaking
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the Mexican territory up to 50% of the time
  • Physical ability to travel frequently within the territory for customer visits and industry events
