Job Description

The role involves leading and developing a sales team focused on selling IoT solutions to mid-sized public sector organizations, with an emphasis on building customer relationships, driving sales performance, and supporting long-term growth in a high-performance, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of account executives focusing on mid-sized Public Sector organizations
  • Hire, onboard, and coach account executives to ensure their growth and success
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, conduct pipeline reviews, and achieve quarterly targets
  • Create training content and support professional development for sales team members
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and manage projects
  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers in the Public Sector
  • Provide feedback and coaching to sales team members to improve performance
  • Promote and embody the company's cultural principles within the team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of enterprise selling experience.
  • At least 2 years experience managing a sales team, preferably a Public Sector team.
  • Experience selling full-cycle sales into the Public Sector, including Local Government, K-12, and High Education.
  • Proven track record of ability to train, spearhead, and motivate sales teams.
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended time-frames.
  • Must have a strong track record of overachievement to quota.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce (SFDC) and accurate forecasting methodology.
  • Ability to travel up to once per month for onsite meetings.
  • Proficient in data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to provide upwards feedback.
