Job Description
A Product Manager at Samsara is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver core features for the company's platform that enhance automation, scalability, and user experience in physical operations industries, ultimately supporting the company's mission to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop product requirements and shape the roadmap for automation capabilities.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ship intuitive, scalable, and reliable features.
- Gather feedback from customer support, sales, and account teams to prioritize enhancements and debug issues.
- Use customer feedback and product analytics to evaluate success and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to product launch activities, including documentation and training materials.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience in product management, or a mix of product-focused roles in software, engineering, or technical consulting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and simplify complex ideas.
- Comfortable using data and customer feedback to make decisions.
- Some familiarity with APIs, automation tools, or technical systems integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent practical experience such as software engineering experience.
- Experience working on B2B SaaS or platform products.
- Previous exposure to automation tools, event-based systems, or workflow builders.
- Experience working with enterprise customers or customer-facing teams.
