Job Description

The Principal Marketing Program Manager at Samsara is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing large-scale marketing programs to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and support the company's growth in connected operations across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of full-funnel marketing programs across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and secure budgets for marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize marketing programs to improve efficiency and achieve strategic goals.
  • Establish and track program metrics, identify risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing operations to set up tracking, workflows, and reporting for marketing programs.
  • Continuously improve marketing strategies and processes through regular retrospectives and innovation.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in program management, strategy, and operations in Marketing, at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale marketing launches and campaigns, coordinating multiple workstreams, deliverables, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies such as Airtable, Jira, Google Sheets, and experience working in Google Suite, Salesforce, and Tableau.
  • Experience managing budgets, working with vendors, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategies, convey complex information concisely, and effectively engage with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Highly process-oriented with a structured approach to campaign management, including building timelines, trackers, bills of materials, setting agendas, running meetings, and driving accountability across teams.
