Job Description
A Payroll Analyst responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes across multiple countries in the EMEA region, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and process improvements within a fast-paced, global finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for UK and European entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Validate payroll data from Workday, Cloudpay, and third-party sources for compliance and accuracy.
- Analyze and prepare variance reports for assigned countries.
- Serve as the primary contact for compliance audits related to payroll.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure timely bank file releases and execution of payment agreements.
- Manage declarations, RSUs, and ESPP to ensure legal and policy compliance.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation in payroll operations.
- Create country-specific operating procedures incorporating legislative and company policies.
- Lead onboarding sessions and resolve employee payroll inquiries.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects, new country implementations, and year-end activities.
- Attend governance calls with third-party vendors to review performance and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with HR and Legal teams on policy implementation and review.
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding payroll.
Requirements
- Prior experience with Workday as well as Cloudpay.
- Prior experience of Payroll integrations and automation.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritise and complete projects timely and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and able to adjust to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and customer service focus.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in a very open and transparent environment.
- Prior experience with EMEA payrolls.
- Exposure to Accounting activities such as journal entries, mapping, and reconciliation of payroll GL accounts.
