Job Description
This role involves developing and managing public sector partnership programs to drive sales and expand Samsara's ecosystem, focusing on building relationships with distribution and resale partners to accelerate business growth in various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop key relationships and build scalable programs with Public Sector distribution and resale partners to drive pipeline and sales outcomes
- Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for partner acceleration
- Build and execute scaled Public Sector channel motions for tier 1 and tier 2 partners
- Shape and contribute to the strategic roadmap of Public Sector partnerships
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Public Sector partnerships or sales.
- Experience with scaled Public Sector channel motions tier 1 and tier 2.
- Experience building programs with a history of driving the Public Sector pipeline through partners.
- Kind and collaborative orientation, energized by working with many different types of people from various teams.
- A builder mentality, thriving in ambiguous environments, and able to create structure, process, and scale.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves; no task is too big or small.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience in B2B technology or within a B2B technology ecosystem (preferred).
- Experience working with Carahsoft (preferred).
- Experience with common Public Sector contract vehicles used to purchase IT cloud and/or fleet management solutions (preferred).
- Ability to develop key relationships and build scalable programs with Public Sector distribution and resale partners to drive net new pipeline and accelerate sales outcomes.
- Ability to work with Sales and cross-functional partners within Samsara to identify opportunities for partners to accelerate.
- Willingness to contribute to shaping the Public Sector partnerships strategic roadmap.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including kindness and collaboration.
- Ability to create structure, process, and scale in ambiguous environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment within the US.
- Legal right to work at Samsara in the specified work location.
