Job Description
A remote sales role focused on acquiring new mid-sized customers for Samsara's IoT platform, involving end-to-end customer engagement, complex deal cycles, and building long-term relationships to help improve physical operations across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new customers through outbound prospecting and strategic account mapping
- Manage customer engagements from prospecting and qualification to closing sales
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve deal blockers and facilitate sales processes
Requirements
- Minimum of 24 months experience in a full-cycle, outbound-heavy SaaS closing role.
- Experience in a pure hunter role focused on 80-90 net-new logo acquisition.
- Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement.
- Experience handling complex mid-large deal cycles.
- Ability to work on strategic account mapping outbound prospecting.
- Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close.
- Value-based selling approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and curious by nature.
- Comfortable in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
- MEDDIC experience.
- Experience in a sales environment focused on 90 net-new logo acquisition.
