Job Description
This role involves selling Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized customers, managing complex sales processes including demos, trials, negotiations, and building relationships with clients across various industries to drive digital transformation and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential customers to expand the sales pipeline
- Engage with mid-sized customers through cold calling and relationship building
- Learn and understand customers' business operations to tailor sales approaches
- Manage and execute full-cycle sales processes, including negotiations and closing deals
- Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and manage trials with multiple stakeholders
- Negotiate pricing and terms with customers, including CXOs and executives
- Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to foster trust and long-term engagement
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
- Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 CAD in annual revenue.
- Must be located in Canada.
- Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
- Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes.
- Experience with high-volume cold calling.
- Must demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC).
