Job Description

This role involves selling Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized customers, managing complex sales processes including demos, trials, negotiations, and building relationships with clients across various industries to drive digital transformation and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential customers to expand the sales pipeline
  • Engage with mid-sized customers through cold calling and relationship building
  • Learn and understand customers' business operations to tailor sales approaches
  • Manage and execute full-cycle sales processes, including negotiations and closing deals
  • Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and manage trials with multiple stakeholders
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with customers, including CXOs and executives
  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to foster trust and long-term engagement

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
  • Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 CAD in annual revenue.
  • Must be located in Canada.
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
  • Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes.
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling.
  • Must demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC).
