Job Description

The role involves managing complex sales cycles and building a pipeline to sell IoT-based solutions to industries that support the global economy, with a focus on new customer acquisition and relationship building in the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage deal cycles from $10K to $300K by selling a complex suite of products to multiple personas.
  • Prospect and research potential clients to expand the sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers across various industries.
  • Learn and understand the operational pain points of diverse industries to align technology solutions.
  • Operate as a revenue leader responsible for acquiring 80-90% net-new logos through self-sourced pipeline.

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 months in a full-cycle, outbound-heavy SaaS closing role with a proven history of building own pipeline from scratch.
  • Track record of hitting and exceeding quota in a competitive, complex environment.
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder deal cycles and technical proof of concepts (POCs).
  • Native German language speaker.
  • Structured sales methodology that delivers success and ensures predictable results.
  • Understanding of how to structure prospecting volume, discovery depth, and multi-threading to ensure consistent output and forecast accuracy.
  • Relentless drive for self-improvement, actively seeking feedback, iterating on approach, and evolving tactics to stay ahead of the market.
  • Ability to operate as a pure revenue leader, responsible for 80-90% net-new logo acquisition through self-sourced pipeline.
  • Legal right to work in Germany and ability to visit clients in the region typically on a fortnightly basis.
