Job Description

This role involves managing and optimizing marketing technology systems, integrating AI and automation solutions, and collaborating across teams to enhance marketing operations and support Samsara's growth in digital transformation of physical industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and configure MarTech systems, including integration and administration of platforms like Salesforce, MAP, CDP, CMS, and DAM.
  • Integrate, deploy, and utilize AI/ML models within marketing environments to address business challenges.
  • Assess and recommend new AI-powered MarTech solutions through technical evaluations and proof of concepts.
  • Design no-code or low-code applications to improve system functionality and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate technical concepts and system architecture to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Finance, IT, and Procurement to deliver marketing technology initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing Operations or a similar role such as GTM engineer.
  • Strong internal communication skills with proven ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders, including Marketing, Finance, IT, and other cross-functional leaders.
  • Experience managing the software procurement processes from initial problem scoping through vendor evaluation, selection, implementation, and ongoing management phases.
  • Experience developing custom solutions or integrations across third-party technology to unlock new capabilities or dramatically improve processes.
  • Strong technical orientation with excitement about developing system architecture and working closely with technical partners internally and on vendor teams.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or relevant work experience.
  • Experience with enterprise-level MarTech platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Iterable, Contentful, Zoom, Webflow, Databricks, Tableau, 6sense, ReachDesk.
  • Experience working closely with Engineering teams to build and maintain custom infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, SQL, API integration, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
