Job Description
This role involves leading the development and strategy of Samsara's platform reporting tools, focusing on building scalable, mission-critical SaaS applications that provide actionable insights from IoT data to improve physical operations across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term roadmap and strategy for telematics feature sets.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to define technical strategy.
- Set quarterly goals and prioritize product engineering tasks.
- Plan and deliver features and infrastructure improvements to enhance customer experience.
- Ensure high reliability and quality of software components.
- Lead and develop an inclusive, high-performing engineering team.
- Participate in customer interviews and collaborate with customer success and product teams to improve outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience building scalable, mission-critical SaaS applications.
- Experience operating, maintaining, and improving upon large scale application services.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing, and ability to work well in a diverse, team-focused environment.
- Strong track record of delivering products and features that customers love.
- Proven record of attracting top-talent and coaching the team.
- 8 years of relevant software engineering work experience.
- 3 years of hands-on technical management experience.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience building data pipelines and/or data analytics products.
- Exposure to query engine optimizations.
- The candidate must be able to work in Poland, as this is a remote position open to candidates in Poland, with no relocation assistance provided.
