Job Description
The Engineering Manager will lead and grow a high-performing engineering team to develop innovative hardware, firmware, and software solutions that leverage AI and IoT technologies, aiming to modernize physical operations and deliver impactful products for global industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing, inclusive engineering team
- Define the technical vision and product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders
- Leverage AI and machine learning to develop innovative solutions for customer problems
- Oversee the architecture, development, and delivery of new product initiatives
- Optimize engineering processes and metrics to ensure rapid and effective iteration
- Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate solutions based on customer feedback
- Guide the team in building scalable hardware, firmware, and software solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 6 years of professional software development experience.
- 2 years of formal experience managing a team of software engineers in a product-driven environment.
- A deep-seated curiosity and a willingness to dive into complex technical and customer problems.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for developing a strong team culture.
- Hands-on AI/ML experience, including practical experience building with or fine-tuning AI models such as Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Proven success at scale, with a history of leading teams that have shipped and scaled software products to a large and growing user base.
- Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn core technologies including Go, TypeScript, GraphQL, gRPC, and React (including React Native).
