Job Description
This role involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance the sales process and customer experience for Samsara's Enterprise sales team, with a focus on increasing revenue, streamlining operations, and leading a high-performing, inclusive team in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales and leadership to develop strategies that enhance the Enterprise Sales team's efficiency and revenue closure.
- Define and refine processes for intake, assessment, and prioritization of requests to minimize friction points in revenue generation.
- Lead initiatives to improve the sales representative experience by identifying pain points and implementing solutions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to prioritize and execute improvements aimed at increasing revenue and profitability from Enterprise customers.
- Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing, inclusive team of coordinators and analysts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a sales support or deal strategy role, preferably at a high-growth technology company with a sales team of 500 people or experience in similar growth or operations roles in a dynamic environment
- Significant experience with Salesforce, specifically Salesforce reporting, as well as experience with data visualization tools e.g. Tableau
- Excellent communication skills with the AVP levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and the overall sales technology ecosystem
- Action-oriented to solve problems on short timelines
- Demonstrated leadership experience driving complex, cross-functional execution
- Comfortable with ambiguity and enthusiastic about improving efficiencies to increase sales
- Strong organizational skills and business judgment with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills to understand sales policies and processes at a company, team, and sales rep level
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top university
- Advanced analysis skills with expertise working with large and unstructured data sets and building complex models (preferred)
- Previous experience working within Zendesk Zendesk Explore in an administrator capacity (preferred)
- Salesforce CPQ experience (preferred)
- High ability to communicate with both technical stakeholders and business leaders, translating complex issues seamlessly
- High level of curiosity
- Proactive and self-motivated
