Job Description
The Renewals Manager at Samsara is responsible for managing customer renewals, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through strong relationship building and operational excellence within a SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and share accurate renewal results, forecasts, and customer trends
- Achieve targets on a team and individual level
- Collaborate with sales and customer outcomes teams on renewal deals
- Build and nurture long-term customer relationships
- Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing, inclusive sales team
- Focus on customer success and long-term growth strategies
- Embed and promote Samsara's cultural principles within the team
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of sales management experience
- Minimum of 8 years of overall sales experience
- Exceptional track record, including overperformance of general business objectives and sales targets
- Demonstrated record of success in a high-pressure, performance-driven sales environment
- Proven history of ability to hire, train, manage, and motivate talented sales teams
- History of thriving in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong interpersonal, networking, and influencing skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Strong empathy towards customers and passion for revenue and growth
- Experience in SaaS and renewals preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to maintain and share accurate renewal results, forecasts, and customer trends
- Ability to deliver against targets on a team and individual level
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and assist on specific deals as needed
- Ability to champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles
