Job Description
The Inside Sales Manager at Samsara leads and develops a team of account executives to drive complex full-cycle sales in industries reliant on physical operations, focusing on building customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and supporting long-term growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of account executives to achieve sales targets
- Hire, onboard, and coach new and existing account executives
- Develop and implement sales strategies, including pipeline reviews
- Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and manage projects
- Create training content and support professional development of team members
- Provide tactical and performance feedback to account executives
- Foster a high-performance, inclusive team culture aligned with company principles
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience with proven performance owning a complex selling motion from prospecting through close.
- 1-2 years of preferred experience managing a team.
- Experience selling full-cycle sales.
- Strong track record of overachievement with experience in coaching a team on outbounding.
- Understanding of complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended time-frames.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort with public speaking.
- Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
- Self-starter and adaptable to change.
- Continued growth mindset to learn a unique industry.
- Proficient in data-driven decision making.
- Ability to provide upwards feedback.
- Familiarity with SFDC (Salesforce).
