Job Description

A senior SaaS sales role focused on prospecting, qualifying, and closing large, complex deals with major operational clients in Canada, aiming to help organizations improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability through Samsara's IoT platform and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own customer engagements from prospecting to closing large, complex deals
  • Generate sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and manage inbound leads
  • Leverage internal teams to effectively close opportunities
  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers
  • Learn and understand clients' business operations and industry-specific needs
  • Champion and embody company cultural principles
  • Focus on customer success and long-term relationship building
  • Handle and negotiate transactions up to 1 million ACV
  • Develop new high-value target accounts and build out new territories

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior SaaS sales role
  • Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement
  • Experience handling and owning large complex deals
  • Comfortable in a rapidly changing, high-growth tech environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High comfort closing transactions of up to 1 million ACV in size
  • Experience with building out a new territory and acquiring new high value target accounts
