Job Description
The role involves designing and developing scalable and secure Salesforce solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes, and maintaining high-quality code to support the company's digital transformation efforts across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable solutions on the Salesforce and CPQ platforms
- Communicate technical solutions and design tradeoffs to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and critical metrics
- Evaluate existing code, reduce technical debt, and establish a technology roadmap
- Maintain and optimize full lifecycle software development using Salesforce tools and applications
- Establish best practices and standards for high-quality, efficient code
- Mentor, develop, and train junior developers
- Contribute to setting up CI/CD pipelines and integrated applications like Mulesoft
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in IT engineering with Salesforce development experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Sales Cloud, CPQ, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, and Force.com tools and applications.
- Experience in designing and developing secure, scalable technical solutions on the Salesforce and CPQ platforms.
- Ability to communicate technical solutions and design tradeoffs to Business Applications team members and business stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing business processes and system implementation to identify inefficiencies and critical metrics.
- Experience evaluating existing code, developing plans to reduce technical debt over time, and establishing a technology roadmap with system architects.
- Proficiency in maintaining and optimizing full lifecycle software development using standard configuration, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, APIs, CPQ, and Force.com applications.
- Ability to establish best practices and standards for well-designed, testable, efficient code with high quality.
- Experience in mentoring, developing, and training junior developers.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience designing test plans, performing unit testing, and writing test classes to ensure proper code coverage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, able to prioritize effectively, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and proven success in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Experience working in Agile development methodology.
- Familiarity with integrated applications such as Mulesoft (preferred).
- Experience contributing to setting up CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Working knowledge of Web and Javascript frameworks.
- Certifications such as Platform Developer, Platform App Builder, or other relevant certifications (preferred).
