Job Description
The role involves designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud applications and AI/ML solutions on AWS, supporting sales workflows and integrating various systems to improve operational efficiency and safety across critical industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and highly available applications and services on AWS
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy
- Integrate AI/ML solutions into sales tools to support and optimize sales workflows
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and web services
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch and other tools
- Ensure security and compliance of AWS environments and applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in AWS environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with 8 years of software development experience or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with 6 years of software development experience with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of core AWS services and their application in building scalable and resilient systems.
- At least 5 years of full stack software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Node.js, Go, or React.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments, with a solid understanding of software development lifecycle processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with working with stakeholders for defining and executing project roadmaps.
- Understanding of security best practices in the cloud.
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable and highly available applications and services on AWS.
- Experience utilizing a wide range of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, and more.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or similar tools.
- Experience integrating AI/ML-powered solutions in sales tools such as CRM integration, lead scoring, chatbots, recommendation engines, and forecasting models.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and other web services.
- Experience implementing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in production and non-production AWS environments.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration services such as Amazon ECS or EKS.
- Experience building and deploying serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Experience in integrating multiple applications using middleware tools such as Zapier or Workato.
- Experience with database design and management on AWS RDS and DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Experience working with large-scale, distributed systems.
