Job Description

The Benefits Partner is responsible for managing and executing global benefits and leave of absence programs, ensuring compliance and providing employee support across multiple regions, while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to optimize benefits operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end administration of global Leave of Absence (LOA) programs across multiple regions.
  • Handle the full lifecycle of leave cases, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject-matter expert for LOA processes, policies, and employee support.
  • Ensure accurate leave tracking, documentation, and reporting across systems.
  • Support accommodations, interactive processes, and return-to-work planning.
  • Conduct LOA audits to ensure compliance, data integrity, and process consistency.
  • Support administration of U.S. benefits programs and coordinate international benefits operations.
  • Execute compliance activities such as regulatory filings, audits, and testing related to benefits programs.
  • Assist with global mobility processes, including tracking and coordinating visa and work authorization cases.
  • Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers on leave and benefits-related questions.
  • Generate reports on leave activity, compliance metrics, and benefits operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in benefits and/or leave of absence administration.
  • Strong experience managing LOA programs, ideally across multiple regions or jurisdictions.
  • Deep working knowledge of U.S. leave and benefits regulations including FMLA, ADA, ERISA, and ACA.
  • Experience with compliance processes such as audits, Non-Discrimination Testing (NDT), or regulatory filings.
  • Exposure to or experience supporting international benefits programs.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, with Workday preferred.
  • Ability to work in a role that involves managing the full lifecycle of leave cases including medical, parental, personal, and statutory leaves.
  • Ability to serve as a primary point of contact and subject-matter expert for LOA processes, policies, and employee support.
  • Ability to support accommodations, interactive processes, and return-to-work planning.
  • Ability to conduct regular LOA audits to ensure compliance, data integrity, and process consistency.
  • Ability to maintain and improve LOA processes and documentation to support scalability.
  • Ability to support administration of U.S. benefits programs including health, welfare, retirement, and wellness benefits.
  • Ability to execute compliance activities such as 401(k) and FSA Non-Discrimination Testing, Form 5500 filings, Medicare Creditable Coverage, HIPAA notices, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to perform payroll and benefits audits to ensure accuracy and compliance across systems.
  • Partnering with brokers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
  • Supporting open enrollment activities including system testing, audits, and employee communications.
  • Supporting international benefits programs and coordinating with regional vendors and stakeholders.
  • Supporting immigration and mobility processes in partnership with external counsel and internal teams.
  • Tracking and coordinating global visa and work authorization cases.
  • Partnering with Payroll, People Partners, Legal, and People Operations to ensure seamless leave and benefits-related support for employees and managers.
  • Creating and maintaining clear employee-facing resources and communications related to leave and benefits.
  • Ensuring all programs are administered in compliance with applicable regulations, both U.S. and international.
  • Maintaining audit-ready documentation, SOPs, and process documentation.
  • Generating reports on leave activity, compliance metrics, and benefits operations.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.
