Job Description
The Field Marketing Executive for UK and Ireland is responsible for planning, executing, and managing marketing events and campaigns to promote Samsara's IoT solutions, build brand awareness, and support business growth within the region. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver impactful experiences that drive customer engagement and industry presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and manage marketing projects and events on time and within budget
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and agencies to create impactful experiences
- Develop and execute the UKI field and events strategy in alignment with business goals
- Support European marketing activities as needed
- Oversee event execution, including setup, teardown, vendor coordination, and collateral management
- Create and maintain a marketing calendar for upcoming initiatives
- Track and evaluate event performance against KPIs to assess ROI and identify improvements
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and media
- Act as a cultural ambassador by embodying company values and fostering a collaborative environment
Requirements
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done, an owning it personality who can drive process improvement while maintaining agility
- 4 years of proven experience in field marketing event management within the B2B or technology sector, with a strong track record of delivering impactful, results-driven programs
- Experience in telematics, fleet management, logistics, or automotive OEM industries is highly desirable
- Attention to detail, excellent organisation skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail
- Willingness to travel as needed for events
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to work in a fast-moving and pressured environment
- Ability to communicate and build successful relationships at all levels
- Ability to motivate others and build relationships
- Experience with SFDC (Salesforce), Marketo is preferred
- European languages such as French or German would be helpful but are not essential
- Legal right to work in the specified location and ability to maintain employment eligibility
