Job Description

The role involves deploying and managing IoT solutions for large-scale public sector customers, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and ongoing support to improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer adoption and success with Samsara's IoT platform in the public sector.
  • Manage deployment of Samsara technology for large-scale government customers.
  • Create launch plans and roadmaps to increase product usage and engagement.
  • Track implementation progress, product adoption, and account health.
  • Conduct training sessions and demonstrate technology to various user levels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, support, engineering, and product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior Customer Success, account management, or strategic consulting role.
  • Enterprise SaaS experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting or working with technical products.
  • Excellent consultative skills with experience in end-to-end system implementations.
  • Proven track record of building trust and communicating effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders including executives, Product and Engineering leadership, and day-to-day users of software.
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year institution.
  • Strong priority management skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues.
  • Experience supporting or working with technical products.
  • Ability to support and deploy solutions for large and complex customer bases in B2B SaaS environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the US 10-20% of the time.
  • Ability to understand and explain Samsara’s platform capabilities to customers of all types, including executives and end-users.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand a customer’s business and technology needs.
  • Ability to create launch plans and a roadmap to increase product usage.
  • Experience tracking implementation progress, participation, product adoption, and account health.
  • Ability to run training sessions and demonstrate technology solutions.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, unstructured, and change-heavy environment.
