Job Description
This role involves deploying and managing IoT solutions for large enterprise customers across various industries, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and ongoing support to enhance their operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure customers increase safety, efficiency, and sustainability through IoT platform deployment
- Manage deployment of Samsara technology for large-scale customers to achieve quick value realization
- Create launch plans and roadmaps to enhance product usage and adoption
- Track implementation progress, participation, and account health
- Conduct training sessions and demonstrate technology to various user levels
- Handle multiple customer engagements simultaneously and collaborate cross-functionally
- Deeply understand and explain Samsara platform capabilities to diverse customers
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support long-term success
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior Customer Success, account management, or strategic consulting role.
- Enterprise SaaS experience preferred.
- Strong priority management skills and high emotional intelligence to handle a demanding position with high internal visibility.
- Experience supporting or working with technical products.
- Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Excellent consultative skills with experience in end-to-end system implementations.
- Proven track record of building trust and communicating effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders including executives, Product and Engineering senior management, and day-to-day users of software.
- Passion for going above and beyond the call of duty, taking initiative, and thriving in a fast-paced, change-heavy environment.
- Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues.
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year institution.
- Strong bias for action, the ability to think big, with insistence on high standards.
- Experience serving a large and complex customer base in B2B SaaS.
- Ability to support or deploy IoT solutions and create launch plans and roadmaps to increase product usage.
- Ability to track implementation progress, participation, product adoption, and account health.
- Ability to run training sessions, demonstrate technology, and work through obstacles with both executives and day-to-day users.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites in the Eastern time zone, including overnight stays, up to 50% of the time.
